Aack! I know, long time no update. Sorry 'bout that. It's been pretty busy around here, and I haven't really had time to even think!

Saturday and Sunday Hubby and I planted, and planted... I finally planted the area in front of our bedroom with a ton of mature hostas, daylillies and evergreens. Hubby decided kind of spur of the moment when we were at Wal-Mart that he "wants evergreen shrubs to cover up the skirting on our house!"

He should know better than to encourage me to buy plants, right? He hasn't figured this out yet. :)

So I dropped around $200 on evergreen shrubs, but you should see the big beautiful shrubs that I got! I love junipers, and I got a bunch of them. Large ones, for $10 each. What a deal! So we have enough evergreens to complete the 70 foot long span of the front of our house. Yes, that takes a lot of shrubs. :)

This weekend I spent a lot of time outside gardening. Pulling weeds and planting flowers. I'm almost done with my white garden around the driveway, and need to keep at it in the back yard. I just have a few empty spots left that need to be filled, and a few weeds that need to be pulled back there, but I need to wait until it dries out a little from all this rain that we've been having.

Today I arrived at work and was promptly asked if I would train the new class for our account. Having formerly been a part time "assistant learning specialist" I figured why not? So I did. The trainer was really sick, so I sent her home and took over. It really was a lot of fun.

So that's about all in a nutshell that's happening in Katress-land.

How YOU doin'?
