Damn, it's getting cold up here.

I wanted to watch the Northern Lights, but it's been all cloudy the past few evenings, so no luck there. We're only about 200 miles away from the Canadian border, so we are normally able to see them quite well.

There's actually been so much sunspot activity that it's been disrupting internet and satellite tv up around here. I was going to update earlier, but wasn't able to get an internet connection. Ya know, we live in the boonies so a satellite connection to internet is your only option for high speed.

Not like 16 miles away from downtown is far, but we're still rural. And far North as well.

The Northern Lights are so pretty here, vivid greens, sometimes white and blue too. My parents used to live in Iceland and they said that they could see red and red/orange up there.

Someday I want to go visit Iceland, they said that it was a fun place to live, and Icelandair generally has some great fares out of Minneapolis and has some fantastic packages available. Something to consider when Hubby is out of college. We've been married almost five years and haven't had a honeymoon yet! He's to busy with school to travel, and before we never had any cash to do so.

Not that we have abundant cash right now, but it's something that we could save money for. Who knows what the future holds?

We've had snow/sleet for most of the past few days and I'm getting sick of it already. I need to make a scarf for myself so that my neck stays warm.

Eh, go figure around here though. :)
