Well, after much debate we made a decision and expanded our family.

We are the new owners of a little girl kitten who we named Medora. She's a orange splotchy long haired baby, and she's just a firecracker!

Medora's favorite things are:

-Tearing down the hall when the alarm clock rings to jump on one of us and say GOOD MORNING!
-canned cat food, in fact she will push the other cats out of the way
-hiding under the bed to reach out and whack at one of the dogs
-playing jump on the tail with the other cats who sometimes don't appreciate that
-hiding in her "chateau" (long story)
-playing with jingling balls at night in the kitchen
-crawling under the covers and playing blanket mouse at night

Needless to say, she is bringing a lot of joy to our household and she gets along beautifully with our cats and dogs. We always have looked forward to coming home to our pets, but with a kitten, it's always fun to see what new things they have learned during the day or see where they have been able to get into mischief.

She's a little cutie pie and we're having a lot of fun with her.

I think she's going to be a smaller cat. Er, well, relative to our big boys and our big girl. Not to say that they're large boned or anything...some of them like the canned cat food a little to much! Hercules is just muscular, but he spends most of his time living in the John Deere tractor that Dad uses to mow field lawn and move snow. Yes, we have a cat that lives in the tractor. It's his choice, and he's welcome to come in anytime. He's such a farm cat though and he loves his tractor.

Medora is cute now, but I think she's going to be a beautiful cat when she grows up.

Thanks goes out to the Humane Society for providing us with this little orange rocket of joy in our house. :)
