Okay, two things that I need to cover today...
First, the easier one to discuss. Saw Dr. B my surgeon today, and he's happy with my progress. He also asked if I had heard anything from the lovely dreaded WSI, and I advised him that of course, I had not. Go figure.
He is in the process of sending a letter out for me to WSI stating the following:
-basically he thinks what they're doing is ridiculous
-they're splitting hairs
-the treatment for cubital tunnel or ulnar neuroitis is the same thing, which is surgery if it doesn't improve
-If they were going to give me a tough time about all this, they should have done so from the get go, rather than stopping coverage half way through.
-He's got my back if I choose to go through litigation, and his 100% support that this is a work related condition
So yeah, that whole meeting made me feel about 10 times better about all this. I'm expecting after this is all said and done and he gets that letter sent off to WSI that I will be receiving a rather large lump sum payment into my checking account. Then I'm taking everyone out for dinner, and paying our household bills for both Dave and I for the next month.
'Cause if I don't, we're so hiring a lawyer. Then they can pay for that too.
My work hours are ramping up by an hour per day per week. After we get back from Sturgis, of course. Still not working every other day, and he was concerned about the cramps that I get in my hands and arms when I've been on the computer for three or more hours. That will come in time though. My arms don't look like sticks anymore either. They have gained muscle definition and shape! They're actually BUFF! I'm excited about that.
I have news about Dave, also. That is his private information however, and I will share that in a "preferred" update over on My Space, as that way it's not available to the whole world.
